Swimming Instructors (10) $11.40/hr, Fall 2008/Winter 2009.
Experienced swim instructors needed to teach American Red Cross swimming lessons Monday-Friday at Madison’s high school and elementary school pools. Full or part-time, daytime and evening hours available. Need Lifeguard Training, First Aid, WSI and CPR PRO/AED. Re-certification available with employment. Session runs June 18-August 16, 2008. Must be able to attend staff training the week of June 18-22. On bus line. Interviews begin in March and continue until all positions filled. Site Director – Aquatics (3) $12.50/hr Sept. 15-Dec. 19, 2009
Previous supervision experience necessary. Responsible for scheduling swim instructors, record keeping, maintaining safe work and program environment. Water Aerobics Instructors (2) $20/class Sept. 15-Dec. 19, 2009
Part time positions (approx. 5 hrs/week) instructing water aerobics programs during the evening hours. Previous experience instructing deep and shallow water aerobics. Adaptive Swim Site Directors, $12.50/hr., (1), Instructors, $11.45/hr (2) and General Support Staff, $10.40/hr. (2-4)
(2-4 hrs weekly). Teach or support youth with disabilities that have adaptive skills in a warm water pool, Lapham school pool, Sept. 20-Nov. 22. Instructional classes are from 9-9:40 and 9:45-10:25 am and water walking is from 10 am-12 noon (adults). Weekend differential pay provided: $5.00/hr.
