First deadline for applications for Summer 2012 is March 9, 2012.
Applications received by March 9, 2012 will be reviewed beginning Monday, March 12.
We will re-post for any remaining openings beginning March 14, 2012.
Second deadline is Thursday, April 12. Applications received by April 12, 2012 will be reviewed beginning Friday, April 13, 2012.
Any remaining openings will be posted until jobs are filled.

Head Lifeguard (1)
Salary: $12.50/hr.
Job type: Full Time
Functions: Schedule lifeguards, open and close pool, plan regular staff in-service training, payroll, evaluate staff.
Estimated start date: June 4
Estimated end date: September 4
Hours of work: varies but must be available until 8:30 pm weekdays and 11-8 weekends
Total hours of work per week: up to 40
Required knowledge, skills & abilities: Must be Lifeguard certified. Lifeguard Instructor certification preferred. Must have past experience as a Head Guard, supervising, scheduling and evaluating staff. For information contact dlahey@madison.k12.wi.us

Swim Instructor (20)
Salary: $11.40/hr
Job type: Part and full time day or evening hours available
Functions: Preschool and Youth swim instructor
Estimated start date: Must be able to attend staff training the week of June 11
Estimated end date: August 9
Hours of work: Daytime shifts available Monday-Thursday 8:45am-3:34pm. Evening hours available beginning at 5pm
Total hours of work per week: up to 40
Required knowledge, skills & abilities: WSI certification preferred, but not required. Previous teaching or swim coaching experience a must. Lifeguard training and CPR/AED required. Recertification available upon hiring. For information contact dlahey@madison.k12.wi.us
