6TH ANNUAL FORE FRIENDS GOLF FUNDRAISER OUTING

Golfing with a great outcome!
Friends of MSCR are committed to providing resources for MSCR to "go beyond the basics" in providing programs and services for the Madison community. The Fore Friends Golf Outing is the primary fundraiser that enables Friends to distribute funds through the Friends of MSCR Grant Program. Through past fundraising efforts the Friends of MSCR have been able to:
- Improve creative play options for children in after school childcare programs with new equipment and supplies,
- Recognize staff and volunteers who work with children in after school programs,
- Provide enhanced safety in after school programs with two-way radios
- Build community by providing Resume Writing workshops and English as a Second Language classes
- Enhance dance and fitness programs by installing new dance mirrors,
- Enable individuals with disabilities to ski with new bi-ski equipment,
- Promote positive after school learning and reading environments with 'soft corners'
- Bring the great outdoors to low-income youth through pontoon boat rides and cross-country skiing programs,
- Create performance opportunities for middle-school youth with a Dance and Drill Festival,
- Create an endowment to support MSCR and recreation for the Madison community forever!

Madison School & Community Recreation (MSCR) is the public recreation provider for the residents of Madison (within the boundaries of the Madison Metropolitan School District).
MSCR is a department of the Madison Metropolitan School District and has been providing recreation services for over 80 years!
We have a wide range of recreation programs and services for all ages that are offered year-round.
