High School ClubsClub Leaders (5+)           $10.40/hr                      Sept. 08 – May 09

Dates and hours vary per assignment. Afterschool Club Leaders are needed for the 07/08 school year. Individuals are needed to teach enrichment and recreational clubs afterschool at MMSD high schools. Club leaders needed specifically for ethnic cooking clubs, chess clubs, art clubs, drill and dance clubs, video production, ski, homework clubs and more. Days vary, but club leaders must be available between 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. Fluency in Spanish and experience working with high school-aged youth are a plus. Schools are on the bus line. Specialty Instructors (5+)      Pay varies Sept. 08 – May 09

Dates and hours vary by assignment. Specialty Instructors are needed for the 08/09 school year. Individuals are needed to teach in a variety of clubs in the sports/fitness area, dance and martial arts. Opportunities exist across all high schools. Looking for instructors for Zumba, Double Dutch, Latin Dance, Hip Hop, Belly Dancing, Kickboxing, Yoga, Tai Chi, Capoeira, Aerobics, and self-defense and more. High School Extramural Coaches-Volleyball         $12.50/hr Sept. 08 – Nov. 08

Individuals sought to coach MSCR extramural sport teams at MMSD high schools. Responsibilities include supervising, coordinating and facilitating weekly practices and games. Coaches needed specifically for Boys Soccer, Girls and Coed Volleyball. Practices are after school one night a week after school and games are on Saturdays. Madison School & Community Recreation (MSCR) is the public recreation provider for the residents of Madison (within the boundaries of the Madison Metropolitan School District).


MSCR is a department of the Madison Metropolitan School District and has been providing recreation services for over 80 years!
