GROUP RENTALS

Pontoon Rental Request Form 2008
Reserve your own boat with volunteer driver/crew and enjoy a recreational ride on the Madison lakes. Go fishing, do bird watching or stop to picnic. Rentals available to the general community, with special pricing in effect for individuals with disabilities, non-profit groups or organizations, senior citizens (50+) and low-income individuals and groups.Three boats are available for rentals dependent on volunteer availability per date; each capable of serving 15 total renters. Each boat is equipped with life jackets (all sizes), deck chairs, safety equipment and a canopy. “Lakes History” handout available. Dress for the weather and realize that on the lake it is generally 10 degrees cooler than on land. No alcohol or tobacco productson boats on any trips/rentals.
DROP-IN RIDES
If you have a group of 5 or less, the drop-in rides might be just the thing for you! Current drop-in hours available to general public arelisted in the current program guide. No registration necessary; first-come, first-served.
SPECIALTY TRIPS
Enjoy one of the many Specialty Trips offered by MSCR. Types of Specialty Trips vary from season to season, so check current Program Guide for complete listings. Participants must register in advance for these trips.

Located within Tenney Park, on the northeast side of the Yahara River, and just below the Dane County locks.
VOLUNTEER PONTOON BOAT DRIVERS AND FIRST MATES NEEDED!
Help others to enjoy our beautiful area lakes. A great program and atmosphere to volunteer in! Enjoy the friendship of other volunteer staff. Boating experience a positive, but training is provided for all drivers and first mates. Call 204-4581 to register for an informational orientation.
Madison School & Community Recreation (MSCR) is the public recreation provider for the residents of Madison (within the boundaries of the Madison Metropolitan School District).
MSCR is a department of the Madison Metropolitan School District and has been providing recreation services for over 80 years!
