Madison School & Community Recreation is happy to invite you to use our online registration system-EZ-REG! We now offer online registration for many of our MSCR programs-24/7 access for your busy schedule.
EZ-REG is a convenient and reliable way to browse through and register for MSCR programs from the comfort of your home. You can view courses offered by MSCR, see if a course you are interested in has openings, as well as location and time information. You have a personal account on EZ-REG where you can view past and current account information. Your transactions, account and payment information are safe on the EZ-REG secured site. Even if the program you want to register for does not offer online registration, you can still use the browse and account information tabs.
Basic instructions for using EZ-REG are listed below. If you have additional questions, please read through our “Frequently Asked Questions” section. As always if you still have questions feel free to call us at 204-3000.
Please Note! If you are planning on using the EZ-REG Online Registration System, please make sure your account information is updated and you have your Family PIN and Client Barcodes well before registration begins, to avoid delays in registering. Go to EZ-REG and click on My Account to check your status. You may not register online after class/program has started. If this is the case, call us at (608) 204-3000.
ONLINE REGISTRATION IS E-Z!
You do not need anything to browse the programs offered. You need to have a Family PIN (Personal Identification Number) and a Client Barcode (a number assigned to each person on your account) if you want to register for any of the programs listed.
If anyone in your household has ever registered for an MSCR program you already have an account on EZ-REG. Please click Forgot My Password to check and see if you have an account already before setting up a new one.
If you do not have an account with us yet, please click the My Account tab and then click on Create a New Account. Please be sure to add the names and information for ALL members of your household. Each person will receive their own barcode #.
After submitting your information, your Client Barcode and Family PIN will be e-mailed to your stated e-mail address during regular business hours, 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday. If you submit your information outside of our regular business hours, information will be e-mailed on the next business day. If you try these steps and are still not able to use the system, please contact the MSCR Office by phone at (608) 204-3000. Please note! Try to make any changes to your account or set up a new account well in advance of the beginning of registration periods to avoid delays in registering.
All registrations done online must be paid for with VISA or Mastercard. You will not be able to complete an online transaction without a valid VISA or Mastercard credit card.
You may NOT register online with EZ-REG if the program/class has already started. If this is the case, call us at (608) 204-3000.

Read the information on the EZ-REG web page. Here are the options of what you can do on the site:
Registration:
Choose a course in the current program guide or by browsing the activities on EZ-REG.
Type the course number in the COURSE NUMBER box or search for a course using KEYWORD or BROWSE for a COURSE using the links on the left.
To enroll, scroll down and click the ADD button to put the course in your basket (the first time you do this, you will be asked to enter your Client Barcode and Family PIN#). Be sure to enter the Client Barcode of the adult whose credit card will be charged so your receipt reads correctly. Select the family member you wish to register from the pull down SELECT-A-CLIENT menu.
Use the ACTIVITIES tab to search for additional classes or click on GO TO CHECKOUT.
Review the charges and enter payment information as required; then click the COMPLETE TRANSACTION button. For your confirmation, please print the REGISTRATION WAS SUCCESSFUL page.
You must pay for courses selected during the transaction in order for your registration to be complete.
Please note! Participants will not be able to register online for any programs that have already started. Call MSCR Office at (608) 204-3000 for registration information if class has already begun.
Full refunds are made if MSCR cancels programs. Refunds (minus a $5 service charge per transaction) are only given up to one week prior to the start of a class/program. Letters of credit, which may be used within one year of issue, are available in lieu of refunds. No refunds or credits are given with less than one weeks notice.

Using the System
What can I do with the EZ-REG system?
You can use the EZ-REG system to register for courses and to browse through program offerings. You can also use the system to check your account information including current and past registration history.
Is your system secure?
Yes, we have taken many steps to ensure the security of your transaction. Security is provided using the highest encryption strength available. Once you log in, you should notice an icon that resembles a locked padlock in the bottom corner of your browser, showing that all data is being encrypted. Double click on the locked padlock to view further information about the digital certificate.
What browser do I need to use the system?
EZ-REG is proven compatible with Netscape 6.0 + and Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 +. We recommend using 128 bit versions of the browsers to ensure the most secure transactions.
I‘m not comfortable using a credit card over the internet. Can I still register online ?
To use the EZ-REG site you must have a valid credit card and complete the transaction at that time. You can always register for any MSCR programs; in person at MSCR offices at Hoyt (Regent Street) or at the Warner Community Recreation Center (Northport Drive), by mail, or by fax (204-0557). If you have questions about website security you can call MSCR at (608) 204-3000.
PINs and Barcodes
What are Client Barcodes and Family PINs and how can I get them?
Your Family PIN is a password that allows you to log onto the system. Your Family PIN is for your whole family unit. The Client Barcode is assigned to each person in your account. Every member of your family has a Client Barcode that identifies them in the system. You will need both of these numbers to use EZ-Reg online registration. Your PIN should be kept confidential and can be changed by you at the top right of the My Account tab.
What if I do not have or know my Family PIN or Client Barcodes?
If any member of your household has registered for an MSCR program in the last 5 years you probably already have a Family PIN and Client Barcodes. To get your Family PIN and Client Barcodes you should:
a) Go to the EZ-REG site. Click on EZ-REG, then go to My Account and click on "Forgot My Password". You will be sent an e-mail containing both your PIN and Barcodes.
b) If you have never signed up for an MSCR program you need to set up a new account by clicking Create New Account or by calling the MSCR office at (608) 204-3000..
I forgot my Client Barcodes and/or PINs. What should I do now?
Go to the EZ-REG site, then go to My Account and click on "Forgot My Password". You will be sent an e-mail containing the information. If you are still having problems you can call MSCR at (608) 204-3000 or e-mail: ezreg@madison.k12.wi.us
I am a Non-Resident, do I qualify for access to EZ-Reg?
Yes, non-residents may use the EZ-REG system beginning with the stated Non-Resident Registration Date (see current MSCR website or program guide for dates).
My Account
I would like to add one or two more family members to my account. How do I do this?
If you are adding a family member and require a barcode, please contact the MSCR office during business hours at (608) 204-3000 or e-mail new information to ezreg@madison.k12.wi.us
I would like to change my mailing address. How can I do this?

What e-mail address should my family provide for EZ-Reg?
The email address of the Main Contact who is logged into the system.
How can I see what courses my family members are currently registered in?
Click on My Account and sign in. Once you have successfully signed in, the My Account page will contain the names of all of your family members. Click on History for each family member or for All Clients to see details of current registrations.
How do I withdraw from a course?
You may not withdraw from courses through EZ-REG. Please contact the MSCR office at (608) 204-3000. Full refunds are made if MSCR cancels programs. How do I register someone from another family?
You can not. Each family MUST register only those within their household.
How will I know if a spot becomes available after I have been waitlisted?
You will be notified by phone if a spot becomes available. If we leave a message, you must return our call within 24 hours in order to request that spot.
What is the procedure for registering if a participant is the wrong age?
Participants must be the correct age stated at the time the program starts. MSCR reserves the right to move a participant to an age appropriate course.
