MSCR BASEBALL PROGRAM-GENERAL INFORMATION

The Adult Baseball Program conducted by MSCR serves individuals 15 years of age and older, who are enrolled in at least the 9th grade at the time of registration. The program is conducted from late May to early August on Monday through Thursday evenings. Games are played on three different fields throughout the community. The players organize teams.

The Commission will place teams into the following leagues:

League structure varies from year to year but basically revolves around two night a week leagues, playing a triple round robin of 15 games and the one night league playing a double round robin of 10 games.

League records ofwins and losses are kept and a team trophy presented to each league champion. All postponed games are rescheduled at the end of regular season play. If needed, play-off games will be played after the completion of regular season games. No tournament is conducted by MSCR.

Players may play for multiple baseball teams but are limited to one team per night. They may also play in the men's and coed softball programs but are limited to one team per night, and not both programs on the same night.

Fees are outlined in the team application information and for your fees MSCR furnishes all game scorecards, two umpires, field maintenance and lights. Catcher's gear, uniforms, gloves, batting helmets, bats and balls are the team's responsibility.

The program is competitive but intended to be low key and hopefully and most importantly, fun. Pass the word and join us.

PLAYER REFERRAL POOL: If you would like to get on an adult team, sign up on our Player Pool Referral Form . We will make your name available to managers seeking players. No fee until you join a team.

For further information, call 204-3026.
