Middle/High School Americorps

PASS AmeriCorps Middle and High School Programs

Partners for After-School Success (PASS) is an AmeriCorps program serving middle and high school youth in Dane county. PASS AmeriCorps members provide literacy tutoring & academic support, facilitate youth development programming, and engage youth in volunteer activities while serving at school, community or youth center host site locations in Madison and outlying areas. PASS offers extensive professional development training and the opportunity to participate in national and state service trips.

Partners for After School Success (PASS) AmeriCorps is seeking part-time members! PASS is offering opportunities to serve 675 hours from January 9, 2017 through August 31, 2018.

PASS members serve middle and high school youth with the goal of enhancing youth academic
achievement. PASS members provide 1:1 literacy tutoring and academic support, organize and engage
youth in community service projects, and provide youth development programming during after school
hours. Responsibilities in each area will be determined based on the number of hours served and member
availability.

PASS offers an exciting professional development experience by providing training, direct service
experience in a school or community-based setting with on-site supervisory support, the chance to
explore career interests and build your resume while changing the life of a youth. Employers are taking
notice of AmeriCorps with many joining the Employers of National Service initiative—a concerted effort
to connect AmeriCorps alumni to employers who understand the value alumni bring to their organization.
