The Elements Ropes Course is a unique program designed to help teams and groups develop their full potential. We help groups improve their skills in the areas of communication, problem solving, teambuilding, trusting each other, taking risks, integrity, supporting each other, and more. Group may include corporate and professional teams, non-profit staff teams, college groups, youth sport teams, religious groups, and more.

The Elements Ropes Course designs challenges that meet the specific goals of each group. For instance, if a group wants to focus on their problem solving process they might have to figure out how to solve an unusual task. If they want to work on their communication skills they will be presented with a challenge that pushes them to communicate well with each other.

The experience will include challenges that are low to the ground, often called Low Ropes, where participants are working together to meet a specific goal. The focus is on the group process and after each challenge the group learns from their successes and mistakes to help them in the next challenge and more importantly to help them become more effective back in their main environment whether it’s an office, school, or playing field.

Some groups also use the High Ropes Course that includes a series of obstacles up to 30 feet in the air. Participants wear harnesses, helmets and other safety gear while climbing, swinging, or zipping on the course. The high course gives individuals an opportunity to take risks and challenge themselves with the support of their teammates.

What are your group’s goals? Are you ready to move your team to the next level? If so, give us a call and we’ll design a custom experience just for your team!

Frequently Asked Questions Participant on the Giant Swing

What level of physical fitness is needed?

We customize every experience to fit the needs of each group and can accommodate people of all abilities and skills. We can design the experience to include very little or a lot of physical challenge. You tell us what you need. Either way, the experience is designed to include everyone in the group.

I’m not sure if our group should do the the low course or the high course.

The focus on the Elements program is to help teams reach their goals to improve their effectiveness. Almost all our programs begin with the low ropes course and some groups choose to also use the high ropes course. The high course is for groups who want to focus on supporting each other while taking risks, challenging individuals, trusting each other, or experiencing something new. Many groups find that spending more time on the low elements is better suited to their specific goals. When designing the program, the ropes course manager will help you determine what would be best for your group.

Do you operate in the winter? Transportation is a problem for us; can you come to our location?
Yes and yes! Our outdoor course operates from mind-March through early November, weather permitting. However, we can bring Elements to you any time of the year. If you are interested in focusing on teambuilding, trust, integrity, communication, or problem solving skills we can transport various components of our course to any indoor or outdoor location. All we need is some open space.

Who are the facilitators?

The Elements Ropes Course facilitators are professionals who have been trained in technical ropes courses and facilitation skills. They come from a variety of professional backgrounds including organizational development, teaching, leadership development, and most of them have worked on multiple ropes courses. Since groups have different needs we match each group with facilitators that can best work with their team.
