Madison School & Community Recreation (MSCR) is a department of the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) and is the public recreation provider for all MMSD residents.

The Fall 2025 Program Guide is in the Sunday, Wisconsin State Journal and will be mailed to all residents who are not Sunday subscribers August 4-8. Registration begins on August 11 at 12pm for residents.

MSCR Camp Compass sites have been having a blast this summer on field trips in and around Madison! From MSCR Pontoon Boat rides to swimming at our local pools and beaches, there is never a dull moment! A huge shout out to all our Camp Compass sites: Anana, Henderson, Lake View, Lowell, and Midvale!

Looking back at some great memories from last week, the final week of summer semester! Youth from @badgerrockmiddleschool, @sennettmiddleschool l and @whitehorsemadison enjoyed time together afterschool at the @lafollettehighschool Youth Resource Center.
Our participants experienced fun activities, connected with friends and enjoyed their time in the sun. We`re so proud of all their hard work!
