Madison School & Community Recreation (MSCR) is a department of the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) and is the public recreation provider for all MMSD residents.

Meet our new Leaders In Training! Leaders in Training are MMSD high school students who are hired to work in our Summer Recreation & Enrichment Centers (SREC). LITs attend an eight week training program at their school afterschool. Recently, all 40 LITs came together at La Follette High School to meet & learn from Elementary team staff.

Join us for Family Camping on June 13-June at the Madison School Forest.! Perfect way to end the school year!
Saturday activities include the opportunity to learn or grow in outdoor survival skills, a night hike with stargazing and campfire cooking.
