Clay on the Move & MSCR on the Move

Discover the world of clay through hands-on experiences! Clay on the Move is a free mobile pottery program offering handbuilding and potters’ wheel opportunities for community members of all ages in the Madison Metropolitan School District. MSCR launched this unique program in 2023. Look for specific summer schedules each May.

Clay on the Move is part of MSCR on the Move which includes Art Cart & Play on the Move. All these free programs travel to local parks and events all summer. Learn more

Pottery Sale

MSCR Pottery Sale 2025

Join MSCR at our MSCR West facility for the Pottery Sale. This sale showcases thousands of pottery created by MSCR instructors, participants and local ceramic artists. Proceeds benefit the pottery program. The sale is perfect for gift shopping!
