Discover the world of clay through hands-on experiences! Clay on the Move is a free mobile pottery program offering handbuilding and potters’ wheel opportunities for community members of all ages in the Madison Metropolitan School District. MSCR launched this unique program in 2023.

Given the scope and mission of MSCR on the Move; Play on the Move, Clay on the Move and Art Cart reserves the right to preserve the program its intended purpose only: to provide free public access to quality experiences in an outdoor, recreational environment.
The MSCR on the Move event calendar fills rapidly. However, on occasion, we are able to accommodate outside requests for service. MSCR uses a selective process to ensure that all supported events are:
- Consistent with MSCR’s mission.
- Free and accessible to the public.
- Compatible with our existing schedule.
