Leslie Smith

It’s hard to narrow down how to tell my “MSCR story.” It spans nearly 20 years. I started here as a college student, and over time, I’ve raised my kids in MSCR programs. My career with MSCR has had a profound impact on who I am and how I see the world.

I’ve had the privilege of working with so many incredible teams, and those experiences have brought me immense joy. We truly have some of the most dedicated and caring people. Along the way, I met my husband and formed many lasting friendships.

I’ve also been fortunate to watch my own daughters grow through MSCR—learning to swim, dance, and spend their summers at camp. My oldest has now been working here for three years, and her experience helped inspire her to pursue a career in education. My younger daughters are already excited to follow in her footsteps and join the MSCR staff next summer.

It’s impossible to count all the ways MSCR has shaped my life. It’s not just something I’ve been a part of—it’s part of who I am.
